Omnium Resolve, the dispute resolution and claims management business within Omnium International, and Gray Consulting, the Abu Dhabi-based expert witness and dispute resolution consultancy led by Alastair Gray, have launched a joint venture to support developers, contractors and operators facing complex construction, infrastructure and energy disputes across the GCC.
The partnership responds to the growing scale and complexity of the GCC’s project pipeline, from giga-projects and major infrastructure programmes to energy developments, which continue to generate high-value contractual claims and disputes. Operating as Omnium Resolve x Gray Consulting, the joint venture combines Gray Consulting’s senior expert witness capability with Omnium Resolve’s multidisciplinary quantum and delay analysis, arbitration expertise, claims advisory and dispute avoidance teams. Clients and their legal counsel can therefore access one coordinated, principal-led team throughout the life of a matter.

Collectively, the three principals bring more than 70 years of experience in construction, claims and disputes. For construction and energy clients, the joint venture provides coordinated support throughout the project and dispute lifecycle. The joint venture will focus on the United Arab Emirates and the broader GCC region with both firms continuing to operate under their existing brands. Omnium Resolve will maintain its broader contract, claims and dispute resolution activities, while Gray Consulting will continue its independent expert witness, advisory, alternative dispute resolution and training work outside matters undertaken jointly.
